Singapore Slings. This was the big one last week. Big thanks to Barb and Joe for hosting a bunch of Jakarta free-loaders for a penne, spaghetti, lasagna, pizza, salad, tirimisu, etc carbo loading festival. (See what you non-participants are missing!!) They have a lovely house in the wilderness of northern Singapore.

Joe met us at the 17 km with a refreshing can of Pocari Sweat and his always-welcome Canon. The flamboyant JFS lime green teeshirt ensured that other people knew where you were from. The race was superbly organized and 50,000 participants sped off under lovely overcast skies that moderated the heat from the tropical sun. Finish times were posted on the web here as of 9 AM Tuesday morning and available by bib number. The results belows are based on chip time.
